Graduation performance entitled "PAINT", BWA Wrocław, 2009

The performance began at midnight and consisted of stepping onto three sheets of ice in primary colors: yellow, blue, and red, each measuring 170x170cm tall. It took place at the BWA Wrocław Gallery and was simultaneously broadcast live, one after another, to three different locations:

1. Wearing a linen dress (referring to the canvas of the painting), I stepped onto a yellow sheet of ice. Sitting on it and eating my "daily bread" from it, I transferred my warmth and energy to the frozen sheet, melting it. The melted yellow pigment left a trail on my skin—appearing. The projection was presented in the tiny space of my graduation studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław: https://player.vimeo.com/video/7035234

2. When I stepped onto a blue sheet of ice, I washed myself and "washed my hands" in a bowl after the attack – this was shown live on a large screen in front of the Faculty of Culture building in Wrocław's Old Market Square. By dissolving the sheet of ice in my body, the color blue was added to my dress: https://vimeo.com/7041209

3. On a confined sheet of ice, holding a razor in my hands. Standing head-on, shaving the light. I grew my hair for three years specifically for this performance. As I shaved the sunlight, my feet froze, the hem of my dress absorbed the red color, and my hair fell calmly onto the countertops: https://vimeo.com/7041454

After shaving my head, I went to the exhibition hall where the canvases created by body heat and melting ice were later hung, and I defended my thesis. I received a distinction.
