CRUSHED / 2024

The performance CRUSHED took place at the Ewa Opałka Gallery / Razem Pamoja Foundation as part of the "&ECHO" exhibition on May 10, 2024.

A relationship with a person with a narcissistic streak exposes us to vulnerability. It also highlights how open we are to the transference of a narcissistic wound. We leave doors open, enact conventional entanglements – do we create the bonds ourselves, or are we entangled? We assume the role of victim – we are well prepared for it. Sometimes overly theatrical, over-scaled, melodramatic, self-destructive. We know that the entire spectacle is not being played out for the first time – we are repeating the mechanism, creating it.
