ANTIEXHIBITION / 2007

ANTIEXHIBITION was Izabela Chamczyk's first solo exhibition-action, where one could observe the "creative process" live, intrude into the intimate space of the artist's studio, participate in the process, and create one's own exhibition using the artist's works.

For one month, the artist moved to the gallery from a collective student studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, where she lacked the space to paint.

The action concluded after a month with a closing reception (finissage) that the artist did not attend – acting subversively and referencing Włodzimierz Borowski's action "Fubki tarb".
