SMTH IN SMTH / 2015

The performance "SMTH IN SMTH" by Zdzisław Jurkiewicz referred to his theory of "Infinity of Continuity," where blue, instead of green, is placed opposite red on the color palette.

I stood in a blue silk dress, between a performative painting hanging from the ceiling, bulging with paint downwards (http://izabelachamczyk.com/en/sth-in-sth/), and a similarly shaped mound of sand, trying to reach the red as a blue line. When I collapsed from exhaustion, I spread the red sand with my body throughout the gallery, creating a trace – a remnant of action, that is, a painting.
