INFINITY / 2011

The performance INFINITY took place at BWA Jelenia Gora in 2011, as part of the "City, Not a City" project.

Blindfolded, I left the gallery, where I stood as a gray figure against the backdrop of a gray painting. Gray is a color that doesn't belong to any color palette, neither warm nor cold; it is infinite. Seeing nothing, using my senses of touch, hearing, and smell, I approached people and hugged them. This subtle action evoked strong emotions in people, as well as in me. We die and are born alone; it's infinity, and closeness is only a moment.
