IMMERATUATION / 2022

The performance Immeratuation (a combination of the words "immersion" and "infatuation") took place on October 12, 2022, at 5:00 PM during the "Sculpture Everywhere?" congress, one of the activities carried out as part of the Center of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko's own program, "Sculpture in Public Space for Independence."

The performance refers to the state of infatuation and falling in love, in which each of us sometimes immerses ourselves. Being in love is sometimes described in medical terms as an experience resembling a mental disorder—it is associated with obsessive thoughts, insomnia, agitation, and strong emotional fluctuations. The work is referenced by the code F63.9 from the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10), which denotes unspecified disorders of habits and drives during the state of being in love.
