The exhibition "Sensation" consists of paintings with intriguing structure, composition, and color. They allow the viewer to enter into the very essence of painting — into painting “behind the scenes.” The artist’s practice is rooted in emotion, and for this reason it opens access to what lies beyond the physical.

Izabela Chamczyk’s actions often extend beyond the realms of the body, touch, taste, and other senses. She is inspired by the unknown — by crossing boundaries, by deriving satisfaction from subtle experiences, and by creating extreme, emotionally charged situations at the limits of endurance; at once delicate and disarming.
